Anodized aluminum can stand the test of time against the elements and continue to look like new ! The temperature ranges in an outdoor application are tremendous. The “Pro XL” Series has technical adaptations to allow for the expansion and contraction of the system in an outdoor application.
This rink has a refrigerated slab. They are ice skating in the winter and inline skating in the summer. We have done board installations like this in New York and Chicago, USA. People are becoming more aware of this application for our boards in other states and in Canada where the climate lends itself to a park like this. We think this is a great idea!
