Hold the drill straight on with both hands and strong pressure against the screw. This will prevent slippage and stripping the heads of the screws. Use 1/4-20 x 1/2” long Flat Head screws.

The gasket will stick to the glass. Use a bent putty knife to separate the gasket from the glass. Slide the putty knife upwards to fully separate.

Center the glass equally on both supports. Pry the glass against the support with a bent putty knife to center. Do not be afraid to apply pressure against the glass edge to slide it over.

The space should be about the same as the adjacent glass, 3/16” to 1/4”. Do not allow the glass to be touching the aluminum support.

Have a person move the top of the back support so it is centered on the glass and push in before you tighten screws. This maintains an equal space at the top.

You can see the face plate dimple inwards and discolor slightly on tightening. When the screws are tightened properly, they will not loosen off.

Unless a single section of boards was designed to be removed frequently, you must remove two panels in any other area of your boards at the same time. Remove the anchor bolts and frame bolts, and push out on the middle

The two panels are put back in by lining up the ends and center and pushing the panels back into line. If the ice is in, you must push the boards out from the ice, cut the ice edge with hot water.

Tighten the face plate screws strongly. You will notice the face plate will dimple with enough pressure. It is a good idea to use new screws supplied from your “Maintenance Box” to replace a glass. Your glass supports should
