The hinge and strike plates are welded onto the door and jambs. What do you do when players have hit the door, bent the hinge and now the door won’t shut?
Our hardware is 3/8” stainless steel vs. 1/4” galvanized steel. It won’t bend easily in the first place. A hinge, strike or locking bar can be switched in minutes.

When the ice or resurfacing machine has bent the boards outwards, they can only be straightened by this means. When the boards lean out at the radius you risk the glass falling right out of conventional glass supports. Whatever flexibility was in the boards is now gone.
Aluminum flexes. If the ice is pushing the boards out you can loosen the anchor bolts, place shims under the boards and tighten them back down straight. Or, cut the ice back with hot water around the edges and the boards will straighten on their own.

Sagging of this gate is common. The gate is heavy and has no mechanism to support it. The hardware does not function properly and binding occurs under these conditions. This heavy a gate requires a wheel to hold it up. However, it didn’t come with one.
We provide a tie rod to support the door. Sagging is eliminated. The hardware aligns correctly when the door is flush at the top and plumb.
