Three More NHL Clubs Switching to Crystaplex 590 Plus Acrylic Shielding
Sport Systems Unlimted is pleased to announce that in the recent days, New York's Madison Square Garden, Nationwide Arena in Columbus, and Toronto's Air Canada Centre have all contracted to purchase new Crystaplex dasher boards, and all will feature the revolutionary Crystaplex 590 Plus acrylic shielding.
This brings to 17 the number of NHL facilities that are now using the thickest, strongest acrylic shielding available today in the hockey market. With 14 teams choosing '590 Plus' for the 2011-12 season, in more than 700 games, only 2 single pieces of this acrylic shielding were broken.
In total, 24 of the 30 NHL arenas now use dasher systems by Athletica / Sport Systems Unlimited.
"We are gratified as always to see 3 more NHL facilites choosing player saftey features such as Crystaplex 590 Plus acrylic, GlassFlex, and SoftCap," commented Adam Pender, CEO of Sport Systems Unlimited. "Our commitment to developing product innovations that enhance player saftey has never been stronger."
