Two largest players in the hockey dasher board business unite;
now the new global leader in sports facilities equipment and arena services business.
Waterloo, Ontario-based Sport Systems Unlimited Corp. and Premier Rinks of Minneapolis, Minnesota (dba Athletica), jointly announced today that they have reached an agreement to create a new company that will see their operations fully merged. By capturing the synergies of both companies, the newly formed company will clearly become the dominant market leader in the industry world-wide.
This new business combination will provide customers across the globe with access to a complete range of products for NHL arenas to the local community rink. The product range is based upon patented and proven technology for safety, maintenance, and enhanced fan viewing experience. State-of-the-art robotic manufacturing ensures that these systems are produced to the highest quality standards and delivered cost effectively.
